How many people can you accommodate? The Conference Housing Program can accommodate up to 200 individuals in Guinan Hall and up to 45 people in Young Hall. Available space at specific times will vary based on the number of conferences already contracted. How early do I need to reserve rooms?
The Conference Housing Program accepts reservations beginning in October prior to the upcoming Summer Conference Season that runs from late May to early August. Reservations must be made at least 45 days prior to the desired check-in date. You may begin the reservation process by completing the Conference Housing Information Form. What does the linen package include?
The linen package includes a sheet set, pillow, blanket and towels. Bed linens are changed weekly. Depending on the package selected, towels may be changed either daily or twice weekly. Can I order meals for my conference?
Yes! The Conference Housing Program works closely with UST Dining Services. We can help arrange breakfasts, lunches or dinners for your conference. Meals are served buffet style in our campus cafeteria. We have many options available, including vegetarian meals. Are there any rooms available for meetings?
We have a conference room available inside Guinan Hall. This room features tables and chairs for up to 50 people, as well as a podium and dry erase board. There are also smaller "study nooks" available throughout the building. These rooms can hold 10-15 people and are furnished with tables, chairs and dry erase boards. Conference Housing can also help your conference arrange for use of classrooms and meeting rooms on campus if needed. Does the building have Internet access?
Yes! In Guinan Hall there are two Ethernet outlets in each room. Just bring and plug in your Ethernet cable and you are ready to go. Guinan Hall also has wireless Internet available in the lobby. Young Hall has wireless Internet available in each apartment. Last, but not least, our campus is wireless, so enjoying a beautiful day outside on your computer is a must! What are the campus rules and regulations?
All conferences must follow the University’s guidelines for conduct. You may review our Summer Guest Guide to see some of the policies specific to conference guests. Do you offer housing to non-UST students?
Our campus housing is provided to our current UST students as well as nonprofit groups looking to bring guests on campus to stay. If you are a student from another university and your nonprofit group sponsors you, our Summer Conference team works through them to figure out your summer housing needs. |
