Rosary on top of a sacred text Theology is a vital part of the core curriculum at the University of St. Thomas, serving to reinforce its Catholic Identity and embodying the principles of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition.  As the only Newman Guide college with a focus on historical theology, UST offers a unique undergraduate program that also includes expertise in sacred scripture, systematic theology, and moral theology.

The Bachelor of Arts in Theology emphasizes a cohesive understanding of theology.  By fostering competency in key areas of Catholicism and honing research methods, the Theology major plays a crucial role in integrating faith and reason within a liberal arts framework.  This program guides students in recognizing the significance of each discipline in relation to the human experience illuminated by the Gospel, affirming the transcendence of both the individual and God.
