The Associate of Applied Science in Human Services and Certificate in Human Services programs at the University of St. Thomas offer foundational knowledge for human service work, skill development, and hands-on training through a social work practicum.

Students will learn and implement practical skills essential for entry-level positions in the human service industry.  Additionally, students will understand various local, state, and federal human service systems and resources to best support community members, gain cultural competence to effectively serve diverse populations through the lens of social justice, and much more.

The Human Services programs are 100% online.  If enrolled full-time, the Certificate may be completed within one-and-a-half years and the AAS may be completed in two-years.
