GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at benefits.va.gov/gibill. Yellow Ribbon Program

The VA has a cap on the amount of money they can pay per student, per academic year.

However, if you have a Post-9/11 GI Bill® that pays 100% of your tuition costs, the Yellow Ribbon Program permits the University and the VA to provide matching funds to cover any costs that exceed the VA cap so you have no out-of-pocket costs.
